งานปัก Sashiko ได้รับแรงบันดาลใจมาจากงานปักซาชิโกะแบบโบราณของญี่ปุ่น ซึ่งดังเดิมนั้นใช้ด้ายสีขาวปักด้นด้วยมือ เป็นลวดลายต่างๆ บนผ้าคราม (Indigo) การปักมือทำให้ใช้เวลานาน

ด้วยเหตุนี้จึงเกิดไอเดียสร้างงาน Sashiko คอนเซ็ปต์ Fast and Easy การใช้จักรปักช่วยปักลายซาชิโกะ จากบางลายที่ต้องปักด้วยมือ 5 ชั่วโมง ถ้าปักด้วยจักรจะใช้เวลาแค่ 5 นาทีเท่านั้นค่ะ
